Rotterdam-based company launches unique safe storage solution for cryptocurrencies
Rotterdam, September 8 2023 - Rotterdam-based company Blockrise announces the launch of an innovative cryptocurrency storage solution. The crypto platform has built a unique solution, which is unprecedented in the industry. After several problems with (inter)national trading platforms and even well-known physical wallets, the need for secure storage among investors has been growing. With this, Blockrise aims to offer peace of mind to crypto investors.
The new storage method uses advanced technology used by banks worldwide. This technology is characterized by highly reliable Swiss security. Customers can safely store their cryptocurrency but also easily use it, for example in trades, without unnecessary delays.
A major concern among crypto investors is that the exchanges where they currently store their crypto have the keys and access to their assets, and the investor does not really own their crypto. Blockrise's solution removes this concern: all assets are held individually, and only the customer themself decides who has access to them. Blockrise itself, without explicit instruction from the customer, does not have access. The company hopes their solution will take the industry to the next level in terms of security, reliability and ease of use.
Jos Lazet, Blockrise's CEO, says he is excited about the launch, "I understand investors' concerns about the security of their crypto assets. Our team has worked hard to develop a suite of solutions that address these concerns while providing a user-friendly experience. I am confident that our service will eventually become the new standard for crypto companies worldwide."
In addition to this unique storage option, the Rotterdam-based crypto platform offers personal account management for serious investors, and customers can also directly trade crypto currencies such as Bitcoin and Ethereum themselves.
Dutch crypto platform Blockrise is based in Rotterdam and founded in 2017. In 2022, the company obtained their registration with De Nederlandsche Bank as a provider of crypto services. Blockrise offers cryptocurrency trading services, unique and secure storage, asset management and hopes to offer a service to take care of the inheritance of crypto assets through a will later this year.
Blockrise Capital B.V. has a registration with De Nederlandsche Bank N.V. (DNB) as a provider of crypto services. DNB supervises Blockrise Capital B.V.'s compliance with the Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing (Prevention) Act and the Sanctions Act 1977. Blockrise Capital B.V. is not under prudential supervision by DNB or under conduct of business supervision by the AFM. This means no supervision of financial requirements or business risks and no specific financial consumer protection.
