Secured Lending
Earn 6.5% annual interest in euros over a fixed twelve-month term. Your euros fund loans collateralized by bitcoin. They are not used to buy bitcoin, and the agreed interest rate does not move with the bitcoin price.
Lending involves risk and you may receive back less than you invest. Collateral value and recovery in a default depend on the bitcoin price.
The structure
You lend euros to Blockrise Lending B.V. for twelve months. Interest is fixed for the term and paid in euros, annually or quarterly. The bitcoin collateral behind the underlying loans is never pooled and never rehypothecated.
Regulatory status Blockrise Lending B.V. does not hold a MiCAR licence. Bitcoin-backed loans are not a MiCAR-regulated product.
How it works
The structure follows one defined sequence. Collateral controls reduce risk but do not remove it.
You agree an amount and term with Blockrise Lending B.V. The minimum is €100.000.
The euros fund loans to clients who borrow against bitcoin they already own.
Bitcoin worth at least twice each underlying loan is held in segregated wallets.
Contractual margin call and liquidation thresholds apply if bitcoin falls. They exist as a backstop. In normal operation they are not reached.
Interest is paid annually or quarterly. Principal is due in euros at maturity, subject to Blockrise Lending B.V. meeting its obligations.
The security
Liquidation is a backstop, not a step in the process. A margin call restores coverage first. If it does not, the backstop closes the position at 85% LTV, while €1.18 of bitcoin still covers every €1 lent.
01 At least 2× at origination
02 Segregated wallets, never pooled
03 Never rehypothecated, never lent on
04 Monitored every minute
05 Contractual backstop thresholds
Bitcoin has a continuous public market price, trades globally around the clock and can be verified on-chain. Its price is volatile.
Divisible Collateral is sold in the amount needed to restore coverage, not all at once.
Liquid A continuous global market, around the clock, so the backstop can act on a Sunday night.
Verifiable Holdings can be checked on-chain.
A 50% collateral cushion at origination.
Collateral still covers 133% of the loan.
Liquidation restores coverage. €1.18 of collateral remains per €1 lent.
Illustrative thresholds only. Execution prices, liquidity, fees and rapid price moves may affect recovery. Controls reduce risk but cannot guarantee repayment.
Illustrative return
Indicative result over twelve months
Illustration only, before tax. It is not an offer, forecast or advice. Repayment depends on Blockrise Lending B.V. and recovery in a default depends on bitcoin collateral value. Terms are set in the loan agreement.

FAQ
The main risk is not that bitcoin falls, because the thresholds are built for that. The main risk is that the backstop cannot be executed at the level intended. A gap move, a market disruption or an execution failure could complete liquidation below 85% LTV and leave recovery short of principal. Lending involves significant risks and you may lose part or all of the amount invested. Repayment of principal and interest depends on Blockrise Lending B.V. meeting its obligations. Bitcoin is highly volatile. Collateralization and liquidation thresholds reduce, but do not remove, the risk of loss. Loans are not deposits and are not covered by a deposit guarantee scheme. No advice is provided. Terms are governed by the executed loan agreement and risk disclosures.
